Assessment preparation

Bring the operating picture. Start with the decision.

A Fit Check establishes whether the work fits. You do not need to assemble a data room or send documents before the conversation. Be ready to describe the pressure, the sponsor, and the decision you need to make.

What to have in mind

Useful context for the conversation.

  • Epic footprint and application overview
  • Current enhancement backlog and capacity pressure
  • Governance model and decision ownership
  • Upgrade and release information
  • Aggregate adoption or utilization reporting
  • Strategic initiatives and timing
  • Stakeholder structure and executive sponsor

What not to send

Keep patient and system information out of this flow.

Do not include patient information, PHI, passwords, credentials, screenshots, or other sensitive information. No files are requested or accepted.

Do not send patient records or production access. If an assessment proceeds, Ronin will agree a bounded evidence plan and an appropriate sharing method first.

A defined scope before evidence gathering.

Scope and success

Agree domains, the decision ahead, success criteria, and explicit boundaries.

People and evidence

Confirm executive sponsorship, operational participation, evidence coverage, and open questions.

Working cadence

Set stakeholder sessions, decision points, review rhythm, and delivery expectations.

Assessment outputs

A closeout package leadership can use.

  • Evidence coverage matrix: what was reviewed and where gaps remain
  • Application and domain scorecards with supporting evidence
  • Opportunity portfolio with operational value and dependencies
  • Prioritized backlog with ownership and capacity tradeoffs
  • Integrated 12–18 month roadmap
  • Executive readout with decisions and open questions
  • Closeout package for internal delivery or further advisory work

Use this page to prepare for the conversation; do not send documents or sensitive information. Roadmap delivery or ongoing advisory support is a separate decision.

Use the Fit Check to clarify fit.

Discuss timing, sponsorship, evidence availability, and the decision ahead. Continue to scoping only if a structured assessment would be useful.
